Doug Clarence is a senior consultant in risk management and transformation who has worked across all three Lines of Defence in London’s Financial Services industry. He has led projects with software providers (E.g. Palantir Technologies Inc., 2013-16) using disjointed data sources to detect signals of potential rogue trading. As Global Control Officer (Sales and Fixed Income) at HSBC from 2016 to 2022, he delivered programs of work that identified and remediated weaknesses in the regulatory risk management framework.
