Hamza Saghir has over 25 years experience with an extensive background in Regulatory Compliance, Data and Privacy Management, and AI Governance, having worked for large global corporations and professional services organizations predominantly in the UK, Europe and also Saudi Arabia.

He has set-up Data Privacy Offices for a number of organizations across the UK and Saudi Arabia and trained teams on all aspects of privacy operations. He served as a Data Protection Officer for KPMG in the UK and several European entities.

His experience includes interacting directly with the regulators including the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) in the UK, Bank of England Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA) and the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA). 

As well as being a Certified Privacy Professional and Privacy Manager (CIPP/E & CIPM), he is also a Fellow of Information Privacy (FIP) with the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) which includes him in the handful of professionals in the Kingdom with this fellow status. He is also certified as a Privacy Engineer by Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA).
