A strong advocate of controlling one's own data, Lukas co-founded TACEO to fulfill the promise of using modern cryptography to build a prosperous digital economy that works for everyone. He holds a master's degree in mathematics from the Graz University of Technology (TUG). Previously, he was a researcher and lecturer at TUG, working on cryptography and privacy-enhancing technologies. His research focused on decentralized and privacy-friendly computing and machine learning. Lukas is a regular speaker at international conferences on emerging technologies and data protection.
